Celebrating

Today we are celebrating six months of seeing and holding Charlotte for the first time. I can't believe how fast six months flew by and she is now 19 months old! She changes everyday. Looking at her playing with Connor last night, laughing and bossing him around, it was so different then that very first day when Charlotte was placed in our arms. Timid and scared. So tiny. She is so loving and has brought our family so much joy. Not that there haven't  been  any challenges. With all toddler behaviors, she is throwing, hitting, throwing, and did I mention hitting. Let me tell you how much a TV remote thrown at you can hurt. My biggest challenge, as with most mothers, is harnessing the energy to keep up with hers. I am not afraid to admit it, I do so love her nap time. But the look on her face when you walk into her room , she just has the biggest smile. We are all so blessed to have her in our family now. Our dreams came true and I hope we can continue to give Yi Xiao Fei , Charlotte Lorraine, a beautiful and happy life. We love you Charlotte!!
