Ladybugs are a symbol of adopting a child from China. During our looong 5 year wait, I couldn't help but think of our daughter to be every time I  saw one.  Last week Charlotte and I had some down time while we waited for Connor to finish soccer practice. We headed to our local beach and during our walk, we stumbled upon a ladybug. Charlotte was fascinated and I was brought back to a time when I didn't know who my daughter was, just that she was dream waiting to happen. I will never forget our journey to Charlotte, but just to have live a typical day in our life, finding ladybugs, makes me appreciate our journey so much more.
