Salon

If you have seen my son lately, you know I like long hair. Much to my husbands dismay, his son has long hair. Connor has gotten so used to it, he likes it now. I draw the line when the knots in the morning become too much. So after many months , on a spur of the moment, we went to get his haircut.

Charlotte likes to go because she gets to swing on a handle rail at the salon. She likes to watch the hairdressers and is in awe of clippers they use on the boys. When Connor was done the hairdresser asked if she was next. Charlotte jumped out of her seat and ran to the salon chair. She was ready for her FIRST HAIRCUT!! I was not ready!! My baby! Plus the fact I wanted to grow her hair really long. If I am going to have a daughter, I figured I better start getting used to someone with their own style ideas. Connor could care less what he wears, what his hair looks like, what brand of jeans we buy. I have been lucky, it has been all my decisions. Charlotte loves her tutu's, but she really lets me pick her clothes without a comment too. So, the hair, I am easing into it. I know the clothes are soon, so I am taking baby steps. Today a haircut, tomorrow, in the future, I am sure there will be many fashion "discussions". Boy, I am going to miss Gymboree!

Before, ready to go

Here we go..

Not one tear!

Happy I'm clipped, I can almost see!

Done, a whole inch off. Mama can breathe.

After. So pretty!
